UPMC is seeking a Research Project Coordinator to support research projects focused on substance use treatment and management. The role involves coordinating activities across project sites, ensuring data integrity, and supervising junior staff.

Travel between project sites is required, and the position is grant funded. The coordinator will work with the team at UPMC WPH and other participating sites, reporting to the Principal Investigator to oversee research staff and ensure strict adherence

Qualifications

• Familiar with research methodologies and IRB submissions.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Maintain accurate records of project spending and funds available.
• Coordinate the daily activities and special projects for department.
• Coordinate scheduling of assessments.
• Assist with quality assurance over all aspects of data collection and management, including data flow, data entry and verification, maintenance of all project databases, data security and confidentiality.
• Provide regular supervision for junior staff.
• Prepare and modify IRB protocols, Regulatory Binders, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Communicate effectively with research, clinical, and administrative staff related to this research.
• Coordinate recruitment and develop strategies to increase response in targeted populations.
• Submit regular progress reports detailing the progress of the research, including NIH progress reports.
