Job summary

The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) seeks a Research Manager to lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of its research portfolio. You will manage day-to-day project activities, coordinate across partners, and ensure timeliness, budgets, and deliverables align with funder priorities.

You’ll work with the Director of Research, centers, CBOs, and academic partners to translate goals into work plans, establish PM systems, and support data collection,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in research, public health, nonprofit, or related settings.
• Experience managing multiple projects with timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Strong project management and organizational skills to handle competing priorities.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Experience with study design, data collection, and dissemination activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and presentations.
• Facilitation skills for planning and leading project meetings.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse groups.
• Commitment to health equity and working with medically underserved communities.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, Zoom, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Administrative support: coordinate project and partner functions and track timelines.
• Research project management: develop work plans, timelines, scopes of work, and trackers.
• Collaborate across teams and with external partners; provide guidance to staff.
• Assist with proposals, grant deliverables, and information gathering for contracts.
• Communications and advocacy: maintain funder communications and prepare reports.
