Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a Program Manager to lead planning, implementation, and ongoing success of complex programs supporting research, education, and organizational excellence.

You will supervise staff, develop strategic plans and budgets, prepare grant proposals, and foster collaborations with internal and external partners while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5-7 years of experience or/and equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently and supervise staff; 1+ years' experience of supervising laboratory personnel and operations.
• Exceptional writing skills to produce wide range of documents and deliverables.
• Experience communicating with UCLA administrators, outside funders, policy makers, and community representatives.
• Strong organizational skills to manage complex programs with short deadlines and multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead program planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve program objectives and organizational goals.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, project execution, and delivery of key program outcomes.
• Develop strategic plans, communications, budgets, and grant proposals.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff to foster a high-performing team.
• Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and community partners.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with UCLA, state, federal, and sponsor requirements.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
