Job summary

UTHealth Houston's Children’s Learning Institute is hiring a Research Program Assistant to support the Texas Infant-Toddler Specialist Network. The role involves video coding of submissions and classroom observations, with a focus on sustaining attention on coding tasks.

Prior video coding experience is a plus; knowledge of Jira, QuestionPro, and REDCap is preferred. Benefits include 100% paid medical premiums for full-time employees, generous time off, longevity pay, and a robust retirement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, human development, biology or relevant field required.
• Master's degree preferred; may substitute years of experience for education.
• Experience in customer service, behavioral analysis or research preferred.
• Video coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliability status on coding analyses for projects.
• Support accessibility review and remediation of digital content.
• Perform observational evaluations in schools/classrooms focusing on cognitive readiness.
• Handle data transfer, verification, entry, processing, management, and analysis.
• Assist with recruiting and obtaining informed consent for participants.
• Support onboarding of early childhood educators and communication with participants.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
