Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Research Pharmacy to oversee investigational drug operations across multiple hematology/oncology trials. You will manage study startup, dispensing workflows, and documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.

You will collaborate with investigators, sponsors, CRAs, and pharmacy staff, providing on-call support and contributing to training and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required and current Michigan pharmacist license or eligibility within 60 days.
• Experience in clinical research pharmacy or investigational drug services preferred.
• Strong understanding of GCP, FDA regulations, and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacis t on delegated authority for investigational studies; oversee startup, dispensing, and closeout.
• Coordinate with investigators, sponsors, and teams to ensure study readiness and compliant operations.
• Validate protocols, documents, order sets, and dispensing guidelines for accuracy and safety.
