Mercury, a fast-growing financial technology company, seeks a Research Operations Specialist to develop frameworks for effective user research. This strategic role involves optimizing research processes, managing participant panels, and ensuring insights are utilized in decision-making. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years in research operations and excel in facilitating collaborative research practices.

We're looking for a Research Operations Specialist to shape and build foundational frameworks that empower Mercury’s product teams to confidently and effectively conduct their own user research.
This role is strategic, collaborative, and impactful. You'll build smarter systems, champion continuous discovery, and ensure research insights are effortlessly woven into Mercury's everyday decisions.

Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:
US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $147,900 - $184,900 USD
US employees outside of New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $133,100 - $166,400 USD
Canadian employees (any location): CAD 139,800 - 174,700
