Job summary

NC State University is seeking a Program Coordinator for Research Operations in Raleigh to provide high-level operational support, administrative coordination, and fiscal oversight for the College of Engineering’s research initiatives and Dean’s Suite operations.

The role reports to the Senior Program Manager for Research Operations and Strategic Initiatives and supports programs such as Applied AI in Engineering and Computer Science, Battery & Energy Storage Systems, Robotics Initiative, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience using project management and productivity tools to streamline workflows.
• Experience in a higher education research environment or managing multidisciplinary programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level operational support, administrative coordination, and fiscal oversight for College of Engineering’s research initiatives and Dean’s Suite operations.
• Bridge Faculty Program Leaders, governance committees, research teams and college service units to ensure initiatives are managed with fiscal integrity and operational efficiency.
