Qualifications

  • Two years of experience within a healthcare professional/administrative/laboratory or research setting, including one year in a role with progressive responsibility.
  • Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Ability to communicate with physicians, sponsors, and co-workers with a customer service focus.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily department operations, schedule and activities; set priorities and standards.
  • Manage staffing, budget, and performance, including coaching and development of staff.
  • Support grant applications, reporting, and tracking of extramural funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to meet goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to policy development and safety/compliance initiatives.
