Job summary

UTHealth Houston's Clinical Research Unit (CRU) seeks a Research Nurse to join a multidisciplinary team supporting investigator-initiated, federally funded, and industry-sponsored studies. You will provide protocol-specific nursing care, safety monitoring, and accurate documentation across multiple protocols.

Collaborating with investigators and research staff, you will recruit and screen participants, administer nursing care per protocols, collect samples, manage data, and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of experience in research is required.
• Current state RN licensure and eligibility for licensure in Texas.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and research protocols.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct nursing care for research participants per protocols.
• Recruit, screen, enroll and follow up with participants across studies.
• Document study activities accurately and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with investigators, coordinators, and clinical teams.
• Prepare regulatory submissions to IRB and assist with data handling.
