Job summary

Tranquil Clinical Research is seeking a Research Nurse for an in-person role at the Houston, TX site. The position involves coordinating study visits under the PI, performing IV therapy and phlebotomy, and ensuring patient safety and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have RN/LVN credentials with clinical trial experience, excellent bedside manner, and strong multitasking and collaboration skills to support the study team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN/LVN with related clinical experience.
• 1 year of clinical trials experience preferred.
• IV Therapy/Infusion Therapy experience.
• Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform study visits under the supervision of the principal investigator.
• Perform IV Therapy and phlebotomy as part of study procedures.
• Conduct critical patient evaluations and monitor patient safety and wellbeing.
• Identify logistical problems and initiate appropriate solutions during trials.
• Collaborate with various role players and work independently as needed.
