Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Research Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform research imaging for PET/CT and PET/MR studies and support the clinical PET department. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient care, and collaboration with investigators and teams at a major teaching hospital.

The candidate will participate in a training period of 6–12 months, with a four-day, 10-hour shift pattern (8:00 AM–6:30 PM), on-site at 60 Blossom Street, and no weekend or on-call coverage required

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree Diagnostic Imaging required.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
• Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine license required.
• BLS Certification within 90 days.
• New grads considered, experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform research imaging for PET/CT and PET/MR studies.
• Follow study-specific protocols and ensure image quality.
• Maintain patient care and safety per ALARA standards.
• Assist in on-the-job training of new hires and students.
• Coordinate with investigators and multidisciplinary teams.
