Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for full-time, onsite work at 273 Charles Street, Boston. The role involves performing SPECT/PET imaging, CT procedures, and radiopharmaceutical handling with strict radiation safety.

It also includes on-call duties and opportunities to mentor new staff and students. Requirements include an Associate’s in Diagnostic Imaging, MA State license, and ARRT/NMTCB certification within 180 days; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in diagnostic imaging required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Licensure: MA State license radiologic technologist (nuclear medicine).
• ARRT or NMTCB (NM) certification within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and research diagnostic and therapeutic molecular imaging protocols (SPECT/PET).
• Perform CT as ordered in conjunction with SPECT/PET exams.
• Observe ALARA radiation safety practices and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals properly.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Assist in education of new hires and students.
