Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred in microbiology, molecular biology, or chemistry.
• Interest in technical aspects of cancer/rare disease diagnostics or therapeutics.
• Familiarity with lab equipment (centrifuges, microscopes, etc.).
• Strong organizational and independent work skills.
• Willingness to learn new techniques as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors for purchasing instruments.
• Oversee daily lab operations including reagent procurement and inventory.
• Manage IBC protocols for recombinant DNA, viral vectors, and human cell culture.
• Lead IACUC protocol management and support inspections.
• Act as lab safety officer, maintaining documentation for EHS inspections.
• Support research using bacterial/mammalian cell culture, qPCR, and recombinant DNA techniques.
