Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland hires a Shared Laboratory Resource Specialist I to support research operations. You will perform a variety of laboratory activities with minimal supervision, work with small research animals, administer drug treatments, measure tumors, and help maintain breeding colonies.

You will follow SOPs, maintain equipment, and complete projects while communicating data to Core leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant scientific field or two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to think critically, communicate data clearly, and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory activities with minimal supervision.
• Work with small research animals and administer drug treatments.
• Perform tumor measurements and help maintain breeding colonies.
• Follow SOPs and maintain laboratory equipment; complete projects and tasks.
• Record data and communicate findings to Core leadership and customers.
