Job summary

The University of New Mexico School of Engineering is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support the Research Support Office. The analyst will manage award budgets, procurement processes, salary allocations, and reporting for multiple centers and complex awards.

Responsibilities include monthly reconciliations, forecasting, and accounting entries, with a focus on CFR 200 compliance and effective financial stewardship. This is a Staff, full-time position in Albuquerque, NM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified.
• Completed degree(s) may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Award set-up and budgeting tasks for award management.
• Contract/Grant administration through award life cycle and monthly spend reconciliation.
• Award closeout and reporting duties.
