Job summary

The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) is seeking a Post-Award Financial Analyst to support the Program Administrator in overseeing sponsored awards from inception through closeout.

Responsibilities include reviewing award documents, establishing accounts, monitoring disbursements, assisting with budget modifications, and coordinating with PIs, sponsors, and campus staff to ensure compliance with sponsor terms.

Qualifications

• BS or BA preferred, bound with at least 15 accounting credits.
• Excel proficiency and high computer literacy required.
• 1–2 years accounting or general financial experience.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to interact with varied staff.

Responsibilities

• Review award documents and establish accounts for awards.
• Provide financial oversight of restricted sponsor funds and related activities.
• Assist PIs with budget modifications and monitoring.
• Support on/off-site audits and award closeout processes.
• Communicate with sponsors, campus personnel, and RF staff on financial matters.
