Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• 5+ years of experience in Research Administration.
• Proven experience as an effective team leader and supervisor, guiding team members to success.
• Expanded knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, including interpreting financial statements.
• Improved analytical skills to analyze financial data and propose solutions.
• Heightened attention to detail in managing complex administrative and financial tasks.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft suite software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the pre and post award research administration team.
• Oversee sponsored research proposals, awards, compliance activities, and post award management.
• Advise faculty and leadership on research administration, contracts and grants, fiscal management, and related policies.
• Interpret and apply sponsor, University, and regulatory requirements while resolving complex issues.
• Develop and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
• Manage staff performance and ensure responsible stewardship of financial, operational, and human resources.
• Partner with Principal Investigators and departmental leadership to support research growth and funding success.
