Arkansas Children’s Hospital is seeking a Research Accounts Assistant to support the Director of Research Accounts in daily grant account management. Responsibilities include setting up new grants in Workday, monitoring expenditures, and preparing financial reports for award programs.

You will reconcile balances, assist with annual reviews, verify invoices, and ensure sponsor guideline compliance. This role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is recommended.
• Two years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED is acceptable.
• Familiarity with federal guidelines that apply to grants.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile grants accounts within the financial systems used at ACRI and AC; set up new grants in Workday; monitor budget revision requests for approval; approve grant expenditures in Workday per budget and sponsor requirements.
• Prepare and maintain various reports for award programs and assist in scheduling account review meetings and preparing for meetings.
• Review subaward invoices to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to budget and supporting documentation.
• Verify UAMS salary and fringe invoices align with grant budgets and coordinate with UAMS staff and Grants Accounting.
