Job summary

Prairie View A&M University is seeking a motivated Master’s nursing student to serve as a Graduate Assistant in the College of Nursing. The GA will support multiple research projects in hospice and palliative care, nursing education, AI, health services research, and systematic reviews.

The position involves literature reviews, survey development, data handling in SPSS, and IRB support. Applicants must be enrolled full-time as PVAMU graduate students with good academic standing, and apply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature searches and assist with evidence synthesis.
• Assist with survey development and participant recruitment using Qualtrics.
• Follow up with participants enrolled in the Panther RISE EMA study to promote survey completion, provide reminders, and maintain participant engagement
• Manage research data and perform preliminary analyses using SPSS.
• Prepare tables, figures, references, and manuscripts.
• Assist with IRB applications and research documentation.
• Help prepare grant proposals, conference abstracts, posters, and presentations.
• Organize project files and support day-to-day research activities.
