Position Information Classification Title Grants Professional III FLSA Exempt FTE 1.0 Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience Preferred Qualifications Position Summary Reporting to the Joint Director of the CCRC / CMM , the Research Funding Administrator is a senior-level grants management professional overseeing pre-award administration for the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center and the Center for Molecular Medicine (Centers), which receive over $20M per year in external funding. Supported by one or more Grants Specialists, this position manages the full grant lifecycle, tracks progress, and provides updates to faculty.
The role also serves as a liaison with the Office of Sponsored Projects and funding agencies, while supporting faculty in proposal development and award administration. In addition, the Research Funding Administrator represents the Centers on institutional committees and must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
