The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor, Physical Therapy, within the School of Integrated Health Sciences. This is a full‑time, 9‑month, tenure‑track position focused on developing a program of research leading to publications and external grant support.

Teaching is expected, with mentoring in PhD programs and service across the University. Anticipated start date: July 2027.

Formación

• Terminal doctoral degree in an area related to physical therapy and rehabilitation sciences from a regionally accredited institution.
• Licensed physical therapist in the U.S. with eligibility for licensure by the Nevada State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Evidence of scholarship, including publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Evidence of successful grantsmanship efforts.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations.
• Ability to collaborate, solve problems and be flexible.
• Demonstrated ability to learn, develop and apply new technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a program of research leading to publications in refereed journals and secure external grant support.
• Teach within the DPT program and mentor in Interdisciplinary Health Science and/or Neuroscience PhD programs.
• Engage in professional, University, School, and Department service activities.
• Meet University criteria related to research, teaching and service and contribute to UNLV Top Tier Initiatives.
