Qualifications

• You will have, or be close to completing, a PhD in electrical machines, electromagnetics, electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong foundations in electrical machine design and electromagnetics are essential.
• Experience with analytical modelling and performance prediction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Join the PEMC group in the Electrical Machines team and work on a new generation of major research programmes.
• Address technically challenging problems in advanced electrical machine design.
• Contribute to electromagnetics, machine topology, analytical modelling and multidisciplinary design.
