Dr. Jalan-Sakrikar’s research group is looking for a Postdoctoral Scientist/Research fellow to join the research team focused on investigating fibro-inflammation in chronic liver diseases. We utilize multidisciplinary approaches that incorporate cell biology, biochemistry, cellular models, animal studies, and patient-derived samples to gain mechanistic insight into the role of immune cells and fibroblasts in liver diseases. The preferred candidate will have experience in molecular and cell biology, in vivo experimentation with mice, and bioinformatics. The qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications. The candidate will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively in our Liver Research Unit with tailored mentorship towards their career goals.
