An established educational institution is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the Biological and Agricultural Engineering laboratories. This role involves managing student design teams and applied field research projects, ensuring safety protocols are in place, and effectively communicating with a diverse group of students. Provide oversight and management of the Biological and Agricultural Engineering teaching, research, and fabrication laboratories. The successful candidate must be willing to assist with applied field research projects and student design teams requiring overnight travel. Additional responsibilities include the following:
* Ability to develop, foster and implement safety programs for all BAE laboratories.
* Ability to communicate with diverse clientele (faculty and students).
* Ability to assist undergraduate and graduate students with research / design projects.
* Ability to manage inventories in BAE research fabrication area and BAE vehicle fleet.
* Ability to manage undergraduate labor.
