Job summary

Evotec is seeking a Research Assistant to support Benchling and related lab information systems, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance across legacy and active research records. The role emphasizes user assistance, training, and cross-system coordination with Cell Core, QB, technicians, and IT/engineering.

You will help triage issues, validate fixes, and maintain synchronized records while contributing to documentation and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• BS (or equivalent) in life sciences or related field is required.
• 2+ years supporting scientific workflows, data curation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Benchling/LIMS/ELN and documentation/training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide user assistance for Benchling and related systems; help with access, validation, and workflow issues.
• Monitor compliance: track containers, unregistered entities, and location validation errors; assist in reporting.
• Develop and deliver training materials, release notes, and onboarding to promote system adoption.
