Job summary

Evotec is seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to support Benchling and related laboratory information systems, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance across legacy and active records.

Your role involves user support, data curation, training, and collaboration with Cell Core, QB, technicians, and IT/engineering to triage issues and maintain synchronized records across Benchling, Dotmatics, and Limfinity.

Qualifications

BS in life sciences or related field.
2+ years supporting scientific workflows and data curation.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication.
Excel and basic PowerPoint proficiency.
Preferred: Benchling/LIMS/ELN experience and validation knowledge.

Responsibilities

Support Benchling and related LIMS by providing user assistance, compliance monitoring, data curation, documentation, training, testing, and cross-system coordination.
Ensure high data quality and regulatory compliance for legacy and active research records.
Assist users with access issues and drive adoption through documentation and training.
Collaborate with Cell Core, QB, technicians, and IT/engineering to triage issues and maintain synchronized records across systems.
Test new features/releases, document test plans, and report defects.
