Job summary

Evotec SE in South San Francisco seeks a Research Assistant to support Benchling and related lab information systems, ensure data quality, and assist with regulatory compliance. You'll help with access, training, testing, and cross-system coordination across Benchling, Dotmatics, and Limfinity.

The ideal candidate has a BS in life sciences, 2+ years of experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

BS (or equivalent) in life sciences or related field.
2+ years supporting scientific workflows and data curation.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication.
Excel and basic PowerPoint proficiency.
Experience with Benchling/LIMS/ELN and lab workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

User support: manage access, respond to inquiries, and maintain FAQs.
Compliance monitoring: track containers, unregistered entities, samples, and locations.
Training and adoption: produce release notes and onboard users.
Documentation: create user manuals and ensure version control.
Testing: validate new features and document test plans.
Data curation and record review: update systems and ensure traceability.
Intake and troubleshooting: assist with cell line registrations and approvals.
Tracking and data quality: maintain master tracking file and drive actions.
Collaboration: coordinate with Cell Core, QB, technicians, and stakeholders.
