Job summary

Evotec is seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to support Benchling and related laboratory information systems. You will provide user assistance, monitor compliance, curate data, and contribute to documentation and training across multiple platforms.

In this role you will triage issues with Cell Core, QB, technicians, and IT/engineering, ensuring accurate records and efficient workflows. A BS in life sciences and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

BS (or equivalent) in life sciences or related field.
2+ years supporting scientific workflows, data curation, and compliance.
Excel and basic PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

User support: manage access/reactivation and respond to inquiries.
Compliance monitoring: track sample-related data quality and location validation.
Training & adoption: deliver training, release notes, and onboarding.
Documentation management: create and maintain user manuals and guides with version control.
Feature testing: test new features/releases and document results.
Record review & data curation: triage and correct legacy records across systems.
Intake & troubleshooting: assist with cell line registrations/expansions and approvals workflows.
Tracking & data quality: maintain master tracking files and drive corrective actions.
Collaboration: coordinate with Cell Core, QB, technicians, and IT/engineering.
