Evotec is seeking a motivated Research Assistant to support Benchling and adjacent laboratory information systems. You will help with data curation, compliance monitoring, and user support while collaborating with Cell Core, QB, technicians, and IT to ensure high-quality records across systems.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and hands-on training for users, with a focus on maintaining regulatory standards and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• BS in life sciences or related field is required.
• 2+ years supporting scientific workflows and data curation/compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication.
• Excel and basic PowerPoint proficiency.
• Preferred: Benchling/LIMS/ELN experience and familiarity with lab workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide user support for Benchling and related systems; ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Cell Core, QB, technicians, and IT/engineering to triage issues and validate fixes.
• Create and maintain user documentation and training materials; drive adoption through notes and sessions.
• Test new features/releases; document test plans and report defects.
• Triage legacy records; update systems and document decisions for traceability.
