An established healthcare provider seeks a dedicated individual to assist in patient recruitment for studies and support clinical operations. This role involves developing study materials, contacting participants, and assisting physicians with various tasks. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently while effectively communicating with diverse individuals. Assist with recruitment of adult patients required for ongoing study. Help develop forms and packets for studies. Contact study participants by phone and/or mail regarding activities, reminders, etc.
Assist physicians in clinic - suture removal, dressing changes, splints, casting, and cast removal.
License Requirements: N/A • Certification Requirements: N/A • Age Specific Care Provided For: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:
Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public. Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Other Requirements: Must possess strong organizational skills and exceptional computer skills. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology at a level normally acquired through completion of approved training programs. Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, visitors, employers, and hospital personnel in exchanging and relaying information and in providing client care. Ability to work in a demanding and challenging environment. Supports the team effort through a willingness to work beyond normal working hours. Must have excellent telephone demeanor. Must possess and promote excellent health, hygiene, and grooming habits. Ability to prioritize workload for the most efficient performance. Capable to cope with interruptions and be flexible as part of a team effort.
