At Numerator, we believe tomorrow’s success starts with today’s market intelligence. We empower the world’s leading brands and retailers with unmatched insights into consumer behavior and the influencers that drive it.

Job Description

Numerator Surveys combine verified purchase behavior with mobile surveys to unlock consumer and shopper insights that build stronger brands. With the largest, most diverse consumer purchase panel, we can provide unmatched insight into consumer influencers, behaviors, and opinions.

As a Research Consultant with Numerator’s Survey Research team, you’ll be a vital member focusing on a core set of clients and ad-hoc projects. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance to drive engagement and impact. Your responsibilities include project management, research design, analysis, and delivering results. You’ll be the primary client contact, acting as a strategic partner to ensure quality and identify growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Be the primary client contact to foster engagement, impact, and strong relationships, collaborating with team members and client teams (sales, consulting, operations, etc.).
  2. Manage the full project lifecycle: scoping, design (including proposals), execution, analysis, and presentation of results.
  3. Understand sample methodologies, research techniques, industry standards, panel structures, and interpret advanced analytics with guidance.
  4. Collaborate with the panel team to incorporate Numerator’s shopper panel into research designs.
  5. Contribute to client strategy and support sales initiatives.
  6. Manage workload with minimal supervision.
  7. Mentor Analysts and Research Operations team members, delegating tasks as needed.
  8. Travel as required to support project needs.
Skills & Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  2. 5+ years of quantitative research experience.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  5. Entrepreneurial mindset and growth orientation.
  6. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a dispersed team.
  8. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  9. Strong data visualization and analytical skills.
What We Offer
  • An inclusive, collaborative culture adaptable to change.
  • Competitive total compensation.
  • Volunteer time off and charitable donation matching.
  • Support for career growth, mentorship, leadership training, conferences, and ERGs.
  • Benefits including health/vision/dental, Personal Spending Account, unlimited PTO, flexible schedule, 401K matching, travel reimbursement, and more.
