Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is offering Engineering Co-op and Intern opportunities at our Research and Innovation facility in Middletown, Ohio for Fall 2026.

Students will work with an engineering team, contributing to technical, administrative, and hands-on support while gaining exposure to steel manufacturing processes. Interns may engage in multiple projects, interact with equipment operators, engineers, and customers, and have the chance to be considered for future full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in engineering (Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemical, Mechanical or related).
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or lead research, analysis, and improvement projects within assigned department.
• Work with engineers and managers on projects related to the steelmaking process.
