Job summary

ATLAS, a research center at the University of Kansas, seeks a Research Associate to support learning map research and development projects. The role includes designing studies, coordinating with content and research teams, conducting qualitative and mixed-method analyses, and disseminating findings to diverse audiences.

Travel to Lawrence and other locations may be required. The successful candidate will lead multiple tasks with tight deadlines, supervise staff as needed, and help advance

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills for scholarly and practitioner audiences.
• Ability to lead K-12 educational research studies.
• Experience designing learning maps or formal learning models.
• Experience managing projects, studies, or published work products.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, planning, and implementation of learning map projects.
• Conduct synthesis of research in K-12 education; prepare reports.
• Lead design of research studies and obtain IRB approval; collect and analyze data.
• Collaborate to develop accessible map-based educational materials for teaching and learning.
• Contribute to proposals for funded research projects and present findings.
