Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is recruiting a Research Associate I for an onsite, 12-month contract in Tucson, AZ. The role supports a division focused on personalized healthcare and in-vitro diagnostics, performing lab experiments for R&D and manufacturing to support key projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and 0–2 years of post-college experience. The candidate should be prepared to work onsite and adhere to GMP/GLP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant post-college experience.
• Candidates with more than 2 years of post-college experience will not be considered.
• Candidates with a Master’s degree or Ph.D will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research, development and manufacturing laboratory experiments to support projects.
• Designs, executes and interprets experiments contributing to project strategies.
• Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses.
• Presents and discusses results within the department and project team.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of scientific literature and may participate in conferences.
• Follows GMP, GLP, Design Control and related procedures.
• Maintains complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files.
• May act as principal investigator in conducting experiments.

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate I for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Tucson, AZ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role is part of a division dedicated to personalized healthcare solutions, focusing on advancing science in in-vitro diagnostics. The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting laboratory experimentation for research, development, and manufacturing to support key projects in a global leader for in-vitro diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support company projects
• Exercises technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies
• Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses
• Presents and discusses results of experiments within department and project team
• Maintains high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature and may participate in conferences and professional societies
• Follows company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control and others as appropriate
• Maintains complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files
• May act as principal investigator in conducting own experiments

Requirements

Pay range: up to $23.00 per hour
