Job summary

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) seeks a Research Associate III for an onsite, 12+ month contract with a Global Biotechnology Company in Tucson, AZ. The role supports essential R&D activities in in-vitro diagnostics, emphasizing laboratory experimentation and data analysis.

Responsibilities include conducting experiments, preparing reports, presenting results, maintaining GMP/GLP compliant documentation, and contributing to project strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences preferred).
• Master’s degree acceptable with up to one year of relevant experience.
• 4-6 years of relevant post-college experience.
• Candidates with a PhD will not be considered for this position.

• Conduct research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support projects.
• Exercise technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses.
• Present and discuss results of experiments within the department and project team.
• Maintain a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature and may participate in conferences and professional societies.
• Follow company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control and others as appropriate.
• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files.
• May act as a principal investigator in conducting own experiments.

Education

As a global leader in in-vitro diagnostics, the team focuses on developing innovative solutions that are crucial for decision-making throughout a person’s health journey by bringing to market diagnostic testing, laboratory efficiency tools, healthcare digitalization, and decision support software.
