Job summary

Biolinq Incorporated in San Diego, CA is seeking a Research Associate to join the Innovation team. You will design and synthesize novel electrochemical biosensor architectures, validate hypotheses, and contribute to data generation and interpretation in fast-paced projects.

You'll work with engineering and R&D to translate early designs into development programs, maintain lab safety, prepare reagents, and document results.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields.
• Requires 2-4+ years of experience with BS or 0-2+ years of experience with MS, with a track record of excellence in performing technical duties in a scientific/life sciences laboratory.
• Strong working knowledge of electrochemistry and electrochemical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and synthesize novel electrochemical biosensor architectures to validate scientific hypotheses.
• Maintain laboratory safety practices and areas such as cleaning or repairing laboratory equipment.
• Prepare chemicals, reagents, buffers, and solutions to support laboratory activities.
• Catalog and order raw materials or required laboratory goods and liaise with suppliers for custom reagents or fixtures.
• Execute automated electrochemical experiments, calibrations, and document results with strict QC.
