Job summary

Biolinq is seeking a research associate to join the Innovation team at our San Diego headquarters. You will design and synthesize electrochemical biosensor architectures, run experiments, and document results while upholding strict quality controls.

The ideal candidate has a BS or higher in a relevant field and 2–4+ years (or MS 0–2+). Familiarity with aptamer sensors, polymer/surface chemistry, Python or JMP is a plus. Biolinq offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in a relevant engineering or science field.
• 2–4+ years of lab experience in biosensor or electrochemical research.
• Strong electrochemistry knowledge and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and synthesize electrochemical biosensor architectures to test hypotheses.
• Maintain laboratory safety and quality-control practices.
• Prepare reagents and run automated electrochemical experiments.
• Analyze large datasets to compare biosensor performance in vitro and in vivo.
• Present results and insights to the team.
