Biolinq, a venture-backed digital health company, seeks a research associate to join its San Diego HQ team. You will design, synthesize and test intradermal biosensor architectures, run automated electrochemical experiments, and analyze results with a focus on high-quality data and regulatory-aligned practices.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or higher in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields.
• Requires 2-4+ years of experience with B.S. or 0-2+ years with M.S., plus a track record of excellence in scientific duties.
• Strong working knowledge of electrochemistry and electrochemical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and synthesize novel electrochemical biosensor architectures to validate hypotheses.
• Maintain laboratory safety and equipment.
• Prepare chemicals, reagents, buffers, and solutions for experiments.
• Order materials and liaise with suppliers for reagents and fixtures.
• Execute automated electrochemical experiments and document results with QC measures.
• Analyze large datasets to compare biosensor performance in vitro and in vivo.
• Present briefings on motivation, procedure, and results of experiments.
• Apply statistical methods to understand significance of results.
