Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Research Assistant for an onsite role in New York City to support human behavioral experiments and contribute to next-generation VR/AR/MR experiences. The position runs for 12 months with extensions possible up to 30 months, and compensation is $30/hr.

You will work with a diverse team of researchers and engineers, managing lab space, data collection, and participant coordination, while ensuring data quality and appropriate ethical practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, cognitive science, HCI, or related fields.
• Experience running behavioural experiments and collecting data.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and personal management skills.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Stage, set up, and manage equipment and lab spaces for experiments at the data collection center.
• Supervise data collection, including informed consent, protocols, confidential data, and basic reports.
• Conduct literature reviews on relevant topics as needed.
• Assist with recruiting and scheduling experiment participants.
• Review large data volumes for quality issues and provide feedback for improvements.
