Responsibilities

Conducts routine tests following established procedures (assays, DNA sequencing, tissue culture, protein purification, electrophoresis, chromatography).
Researches and collects basic study data through monitoring devices and maintains daily logs. Under supervision, summarize data using descriptive statistics and basic hypothesis testing.
Performs literature searches related to the research and/or assigned tasks.
Maintains flexibility as research projects evolve and attends safety trainings and lectures.
May demonstrate routine lab tasks to students and other research personnel.
