You will work under the supervision of study investigators and nurses, interact with diverse populations, and help manage tests, scheduling, and safety. Ideal candidates have an associate degree or MA certification, BLS, and basic computer

Qualifications

Associate's degree in healthcare-related field or MA certification.
BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications.
0-1 year of direct patient care experience in clinical or research setting.

Responsibilities

Performs vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, data collection and data export.
Assists during routine procedures.
Takes complete and accurate information from participants and communicates with staff.
Performs lab tests, specimen collection and processing.
Provides instructions for tests and procedures.
Schedules follow-up tests and appointments in hospital/CRC systems.
Collaborates with RN on care plan execution.
Maintains competencies as directed by manager/director.
Ensures participant safety under RN supervision.
Reports participant activity to the RN promptly.
Escorts participants to radiology and lab as needed.
Attends staff meetings and training sessions.
