Qualifications

• BS in Biology or Microbiology with industry experience.
• 0–2 years relevant lab experience in food production/testing environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
• Experience with LIMS is preferred.
• Manual dexterity and ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing procedures per SOP and quality guidelines.
• Accurately generate and transcribe data.
• Maintain meticulous records of procedures performed.
• Support other department members to meet objectives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized laboratory environment.
• Identify and communicate anomalous results to supervisor.
• Perform equipment maintenance and calibration as directed.
