Job summary

Ascendant Program Services, LLC is hiring a full-time Research Analyst in Arlington, VA, to support a multi-year contract with the U.S. Trade & Development Agency (USTDA).

The role focuses on substantive research, program monitoring and evaluation, and administrative support for USTDA portfolio activities in Europe and Eurasia. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in a similar capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct sophisticated research using numerous resources.
• Ability to compile and analyze data and provide recommendations based on statistical analysis.
• Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance with the U.S. Government.

Responsibilities

• Perform substantive research, analytical tasks, program monitoring and evaluation.
• Provide administrative and supporting functions for USTDA portfolio activities.
• Prepare reports, briefing books, letters, and other formal documents.
• Support programs in Europe and Eurasia with rigorous analysis and reporting.
