AARP Foundation is the nation's leading organization serving the 39 million older adults living in poverty or at risk. The Research Analyst conducts analyses of datasets, supports development of research tools, and translates findings for diverse audiences to inform strategic priorities.

The role collaborates across cross-functional teams, designs visual representations of data, and helps integrate results into program development and evaluation. Hybrid work with remote days within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with experience applying research methods.
• 2+ years of quantitative analysis, data visualization, and modeling.
• Experience acquiring/cleaning data from multiple sources and APIs.
• Ability to explain findings to non-technical audiences and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal and external datasets to answer research questions.
• Support development of tools and processes for quantitative and qualitative research.
• Describe data analyses in clear verbal, written, and visual forms.
• Create and maintain accessible research data compendia.
• Integrate research results into program development and evaluation.
• Collaborate with staff and provide guidance on methods and results.
