Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Seven to nine years of job-related experience in administration and research support.
  • Experience with budgeting, reporting, and interaction with sponsors.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives in research administration.
  • Direct assignments for administrative staff and train on policies and procedures.
  • Oversee budgets and prepare budget reports for programs/projects.
  • Organize pre- and post-award proposal processes, data collection, and renewals.
  • Direct event logistics for large-scale symposia, meetings, and workshops.
  • Lead cross-functional groups to resolve complex agreement issues and mitigate risks.
  • Advise leadership on program data for sponsor reporting.
  • Own department research administration and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
