Job summary

Ohio University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks a Research Support Manager to oversee research administration across multiple institutes and manage financial responsibilities for research programs.

You will work with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to improve administrative processes and support the college’s mission of serving Ohio through osteopathic medicine and research.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3-5 years of related professional experience.
• Healthcare professionals must hold, or be eligible for, appropriate licensure as required by position.
• 3+ years of grant management experience in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Managing internal and external funding.
• Overseeing grant- and research-related financial activities.
• Managing budget processes.
• Providing administrative management to multiple research institutes across the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Division of Health Affairs.
• May also supervise student employees.
