Job summary

Ohio State University in Columbus seeks a senior Research Administration Management Consultant to lead the Center for Cancer Prevention and Survivorship's complex portfolio. The role directs pre-award and post-award activities, develops policies, ensures compliance, and provides financial stewardship for grants, contracts, and philanthropic funding.

The Analyst 4 partners with investigators, center leadership, and external agencies to support growth, sustainability, and impact in cancer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (business, public administration, finance, healthcare administration or research administration).
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible experience in research administration, grants management or related field.
Experience managing complex sponsored project portfolios involving federal funding.

Responsibilities

Direct and oversee all research administration activities supporting CCPS investigators and research programs.
Develop and implement strategic plans, operating procedures, and administrative infrastructure to support center growth.
Serve as the primary advisor to center leadership on research administration, sponsored project management, regulatory compliance, and fiscal stewardship.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and advance best practices across the center.
Lead special projects and initiatives related to research expansion, funding diversification, and institutional priorities.
