Job summary

Total Safety U.S. Inc. is seeking a Rescue Technician to provide technical rescue standby for customer projects, including confined space and rope rescue, as well as first aid and CPR.

You will assess risks, ready rescue equipment, and plan practical safety solutions aligned with client standards. In an accident, you locate and package the patient for extrication and coordinate with EMS. You will follow safety guidelines, maintain equipment, complete reports, and travel to client sites as

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant rescue experience required.
• Confined Space Entrant/Attendant Certification and Healthcare Provider CPR preferred, First Aid with AED, First Responder or better.
• Haz-wopper, 4 Gas Monitor Operation Training, familiarity with OSHA Atmosphere Limitation, and proven proficiency in rescue operations.

Responsibilities

• Assesses hazards and drafts a Confined Space Rescue Preplan and a Rescue Safety Analysis (RSA).
• Identifies and communicates hazards to all affected parties and develops hazard controls and emergency contingency plans.
• Conducts daily job briefings with customers and workers.
• Performs ongoing monitoring of job conditions and equipment and reports observations to supervisor.
• Completes daily IRC (Incident Command System) reports.
• Renders first aid and CPR to the level of training and ensures rescue equipment is ready and maintained.
