Job summary

Total Safety U.S. Inc. is seeking a Rescue Technician to provide standby rescue for customer projects, including confined space and rope rescue. The role includes risk assessment, equipment readiness, and delivering first aid and CPR when needed.

You'll conduct safety briefings, monitor job conditions, and maintain rescue equipment while traveling to customer sites approximately 75% of the time. A high school diploma or GED is required with relevant rescue experience and certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant rescue experience required.
• Confined Space Entrant/Attendant Certification and Healthcare Provider CPR or better preferred.
• Ability to inspect, clean and perform preventative maintenance on rescue equipment.
• Travel to and from customer sites ~75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assess risks and draft a Confined Space Rescue Preplan and RSA.
• Identify hazards and communicate controls to all parties.
• Conduct daily job briefings with customers and workers.
• Monitor conditions and equipment and report to supervisor.
• Complete daily ICD reports and provide first aid/CPR as trained.
• Maintain and inventory rescue equipment and ensure readiness.
