Job summary

Total Safety is seeking a Rescue Technician to join its safety-conscious team. The role provides technical rescue standby for customer projects, including confined space rescue and technical rope rescue, as well as first aid and CPR.

You will assess risks, ready rescue equipment, and plan practical, effective solutions aligned with client standards. Travel to sites, maintain equipment, deliver safety briefings, and document observations for EMS handoff.

Qualifications

• 40 Hour Rescue Technician certification or equivalent with >6 months experience.
• Confined Space Entrant/Attendant Certification.
• Healthcare Provider CPR and First Aid with AED.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing hazards and draft rescue preplans and RSA.
• Conduct daily briefings with customers and workers.
• Monitor job conditions and equipment resources for safety.
• Complete daily ICP reports and ensure equipment readiness.
• Provide first aid/CPR and hand off to EMS as needed.
